Arm The Animals Tee Brand is a charitable business that supports Animal Rights. Meaning that a portion of the proceeds goes to various charities supporting that cause.

As for the Print Quality, the shirts and fleece that we have are printed slightly above the average Direct To Garment digital prints and are on par with ones that you would find at sites such Redbubble.

This is a print-to-order type of business so the turnaround time is usually great. Here is their shipping policy in their own words:

"We run most online orders on a “print to order basis” and we begin fulfillment as soon as possible. We buy blanks, produce, QC, and ship every day of the week and we can turn most orders in 5-7 business days. We are always working on this process to make it faster and more efficient and each quarter, we can get our orders out a day or two quicker. "

How did Arm The Animals Tee Brand get started and what is your brand all about?

Arm The Animals was born from tragedy in 2010 as an attempt to express the inexpressible. Created following the untimely death of my sister (who a lifelong animal advocate and “pet parent” to a dozen rescues), Arm The Animals would serve as a living tribute and means of carrying on a legacy that was ended too soon. It all started as an emotional reaction and a hobby, but thankfully, it took and has evolved into the brand you see today.

What are the ATA ideals?

Our ideals are really simple: Make killer tees and make an impact on the welfare of as many animals in need as possible. We want to be the voice of people out there who are not extremists, but truly care about animal welfare. We like to send a strong message via imagery and up to this point, we think we have done a good job of that. Charitable cause are really personal and subjective, but we see millions of animals in need and we just want to help as best we can. Our company motto is, “Speak for the Speechless & Defend the Defenseless”, so that’s the basic credo all of our designs speak to.

Who designs the tees?

95% of all designs are done in house and by myself or RJ Ochoa. We try to do as much in-house as possible, but about 2 years ago, we began reaching out and using a small network of artists from around the world. We have released items featuring art from Thailand, The Philippines Australia, The UAE, Ukraine and more. We really like the idea of getting a new, “Global take” on our concepts, which can be tough to do from inside the company. We have also had guest artists come and work in the office with us for weeks at a time; Franz Garcia (http://franzdg.blogspot.com/) & Tony Koehl (http://www.sketchthesoul.com/featured/they-died-not-knowing-tony-koehl.html) made major contributions to our releases over the past 2 years in particular.

What inspires the tees?

We have been inspired by making an impact on the general welfare of animals, but certain instances also influence us. For example, when Cecil the lion was killed last year, it inspired a hugely successful design that raised over $12,000 for the ZCTF, who patrols the area where Cecil was killed. Originally, ATA started as just a hobby to help cat/dog shelters and it has now mushroomed into covering all animals of all types. So many species are facing extinction and plight that there is no shortage of inspiration and when it all comes together, like it did with Cecil, the results are amazing!

How would you classify the tees?

We’re actually proud that there is no clear classification for our tees; I mean, they are graphic tees, but you can’t simply say they are high fashion, or hipster, or beach life inspired or political, etc. To us, they are all that… Animal welfare cuts across every demographic on the planet, so we’re lucky to be able to appeal to so many different kinds of people. This isn’t easy, but it is a good problem to have in our estimation.

When we researched animal welfare tees back in 2010 when we started the company - all we found was kittens and butterflies, or blood and guts - with nothing in between for the every man or every woman out there. We wanted to make tees for people who are pissed and care about animals and want to show it - so that’s what we attempted to do. We have had any kind of person you could imagine support us and have even seen three generations of a family all buy a different shirts from us at an event. That’s something special and it’s not something a ton of brands can pull off.

Pawsitive Vibes Only is a message for raising the vibration featuring a cute grey and white bunny and a orange and white fox.

The concept of this tee shirt is peace and never be negative saying on the top "Pawsitive Vibes Only". The bunny and the fox are each waving and in the middle there is a white little heart, like they are going to hug you. They are saying positive energy is in the air. The Pawsitive vibes only is all about having the right attitude and atmosphere.

As for the artwork it's sort of Kawaii. Firstly, it has some excellent color choices and it just makes the viewer feel happy. Secondly, the white letters are so plain but also right to the point. The font is capped except for the letter i. Thirdly, it looks like they are giving each other high-fives with the heart a between them. The bunny and the fox are probably standing behind a table implied by the horizontal line. Which is a easy trick to get out of having to draw the lower halves of the characters. Personally, got the color Turquois which makes the t-shirt really pop.

This T-Shirt is a wonderful gift to give to girls, ladies and anyone who loves good times.

As for the print, It turned out great as always from Neatoshop. I cannot recommended them enough.

The Winds of Autumn features a solemn tree, losing its orange leaves. It is accompanied by a fox and owl. This design is ideal for people who love fall, animals and nature.

The concept is all about the season, and the changes that come about. First, you will notice the leaves are floating in the wind, and the tree is standing proud. Next comes the fox, the same color as the fallen leaves anticipates the natural camouflage. Finally, as for the horned owl, it has claimed its territory.

As for the artwork, it is a watercolor design. The coloring is beautiful. Especially the Orange which has great contrast.

This is a cute design to be worn all Fall long.

The Universe of Sound tee design features a free falling guy that is listening to headphones and musical notes parachute into a heart shape above him.

As for the art concept, Free falling imagery has been done many times by many artists, for example Paper Trail by Rob Dobi. This one stands out because it shows the emotional charge that music can have on people.

The art work itself is good There are plenty of details to get lost in. First, is there are the numerous musical notes. Second there is action being illustrated with the falls and burst. Third, the splatter effect seems to work as emotion to point it's like the music is coming from within the boy. The use of Blue is a calming soothing color which is the opposite of what one would suspect with a falling theme... but it works with music being soothing and soothing to get immersed in.

As for the print, the colors are muted compared to the design thumbnail.

The Winya No. 50 tee design features a woman with deer antlers in a headdress consisting of feathers, roses, and a crown. She is holding a fox.

As for the art concept, it seems to be of a forest goddess or "Green Lady" (Elen?)sans the Red hair who protects the animals. One, that is assuming she didn't kill for the feathers and that the antlers are indeed part of her head and not part of her crown. Two, she is also pale like a corpse which also hints at something not human. The flaming heart in this case seems to represent passion, unconditional love, and empathy with all of the involved elements including the color pink, the heart itself, and the flames.

The art work itself is top notch. There are lots of details to get lost in. First, is the intricate line work in the feathers, fur, and roses which seem to go on forever. Second, there are the bold colors as it is essentially a complete spectrum. Finally, there is the woman's expressionless face and yet soulful eyes that seem to have deeper meaning, contrary to the expression on the fox which emits joy and comfort.

As for the print, the colors are muted compared to the design thumbnail, especially for the Reds.

The Zero Fox tee design is for the pun lovers and people who don't give a ****.

The concept for the Zero Fox tee is simply the words "I GIVE" followed by a smiling numeric zero "0" next to a smiling fox. When said out loud it sounds like profanity. It is a cute shirt for smart ass adults who like to get reactions from people and who like to live life on the edge. This shirt is cute, sassy and full of unsuspecting attitude. This is not an original concept or pun by any means, but this T-shirt is one of the better executed versions of the idea.

As for the artwork, it is a cute cartoon that makes use of the color orange (and it is not even a Halloween tee). It features smooth and consistent shading and for a cartoon that is saying something as most people don't even bother with such details. The result is a bubbly effect that makes the elements pop a bit and it adds to the overall cuteness.

This Zero Fox tee is intended for the more liberal adults, especially women. Some kids might could get away with wearing something like this but don't purchase it as a school garment.

Dolphox Tee Design by Ross Zietz

Dolphox Tee Design Review.

The Dolphox tee design is one of the more clever or rather sly pieces of art to grace a torso. It is simple yet elegant at the same time. This is for the animal lovers. Especially, for the people that like foxes and dolphins but cannot decide which one that they like better or would prefer to wear on their chest. Because as you can see, it features both. People might see both species plain as day or just the fox depending on how their mind works.

Utilizing the negative space in designs is tricky and Ross pulled it off flawlessly. The subtlety of the dolphin is what makes this tee stand out from similar fox designs and logos. Add to that some slight distressing for a vintage look and it becomes fashionable.

This combination of a dolphin and fox is perfect to wear anywhere.
