Ript Apparel established in 2009, is one of the first Limited Edition Tshirt sites and one of the most popular. The tees that I have ordered and worn regularly over the past 3 years have normal fading and cracking, having been machine washed and dried inside out. Currently, they sell 3 pop-culture-themed designs at a time starting at $14 apiece for 36 (used to be 24) hours only. Price has gone up since their early days. They are now my favorite Limited Edition Shirt company simply for all of the exclusives that they offer (updated 5/31/17).

This is a pre-order type of business so the wait time for an order to ship is within 2 business days after the sale. Perhaps up to a week if higher than expected sales or holidays cause delays. The Enter The Dogfather T-shirt design is an excellent mash up of The Godfather and Futurama.

The concept is hits people right in the feels with Fry's loyal and loving mutt Seymour taking the place of the Godfather's kitty. Therefore, with Fry taking the place of the Godfather one can't help but chuckle and want to cry at the same time. For anyone that hasn't seen the referenced Futurama Episode, check out the episode entitled Jurassic Bark. The dyslexic use of the word Dog rather than God works great too on another comedic level.

The Godfather

As for the artwork. It's tight. Firstly, the almost black and white tone is a perfect tribute for the Godfather's original image (shown above). The shading, the highlights, all top notch. Secondly, the seriously expressions and tone given to Fry is hilarious in its own right. But as mentioned earlier, the design elements bring a slew of mixed emotions making it bittersweet. Considering that Fry's character is more of the Slapstick type, this is a feat in and of itself. Thirdly, Having the dog's tongue stick out as bright Red really adds emphasis to Seymour and his emotion. Almost animating the t-shirt.

Finally, it is as if Matt Groening and crew designed this themselves. They were always masterfully pulling on the audience's heart strings. This design is that good in terms of art and concept. A great tee for anyone who likes the dog that waited, especially.

The Enter The Burtons T-shirt design is for the diehard Tim Burton fans.

The concept is uniting the most popular and beloved Burton characters into one t-shirt. Keeping with the common theme storytelling a ghostly vibe.

As for the artwork. To begin with, Frankenweenie is at the very bottom. Above him, Beetlejuice is holding out his hands. He is wearing his trademark black and white tuxedo and also there are two black and white Saturn sandworms in his hands. Next, there is Edward Scissorhands dressed in all black. Then Jack Skellington is also in black attire above him. He is holding his fist like he wants to fight. Lastly, the Corpse Bride is staring over the abyss at the top of the design. The colors for the background are fading purple and blue. All of these storytelling elements are trapped into the creepy gate in rich details. All true to Tim Burton's style and original character designs.

The Magic of Books Hoodie features the one and only Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series and her magical world of books. She is wearing her Hogwarts uniform and holding a wand. Hermione is casting a spell which makes the books magically dance around her. If you like Potter Potter, books, or just plain magic, this hoodie is right for you!

The concept for this design is of course knowlege. For starters, we all know that Hermione is one smart cookie. Secondly, we know she is learning more stuff every day at Hogwarts via class and tomes. As you can see, in front of Hermione, there is a slivering scarf that says "WHEN IN DOUBT, GO TO THE LIBRARY" in capital letters. Finally, tying the theme the magic of books together.

As for the artwork, it is done in a cartoon style. As you can see the Brunette is getting down to business with plenty of action illustrates around her. For instance, her Gray short skirt is swaying in the wind. Also, Her Brown wand she holds is charged and ready as if it is eager to see which spell Hermione is going to cast out. Hermione is of the Gryffindor house and that is what the Yellow and Red represents on her uniform and scarf. Last but not not least, there are pretty design elements like a dove and a butterfly written in the pages of the leather-bound books.

If you prefer the J.K. Rowling fantasy world over this one or if you just like the design, then this hoodie is great for you!

Hoody Boss has a large collection of vibrant All Over Print apparel with an emphasis on Hoodies from various manufacturers. With Animal, Pop Culture, and Nature themes, they offer something for everyone

As for the Print Quality, the prints are vivid and crisp. Being sublimated prints the ink has great coverage and absorption, though along the seams there may be missed gaps but that is normal for this technique and really not that noticeable. If the hoodies and tees are washed inside out in cold water with mild detergent (No Bleach or Harsh Chemicals) and allowed to air dry then the designs should last years.

The hoodie fabric is Polyester. It is lighter than cotton and extremely soft. I wouldn't consider these cold weather hoodies but rather cool weather apparel instead.

The Bomber Jacket is great for early Spring and Early Fall. It is made of 95% Polyester and 5% Spandex. It features lightweight insulation in bright orange color and diamond stitching, black rib-knit banding at the collar, cuffs, and hem. Finished with slip pockets at the waist.

And for the sizing, they tend to run larger than anticipated (which is nothing new in the sublimated clothing industry) Tees and Hoodies ranging from S to 3XL. The Medium Hoodie shown looks and feel closer to Large maybe bigger so keep that in mind.

The Dragon Wars Z T-shirt design is for the Dragon Ball Z and Star Wars fans.

The concept is more of a parody than it is a mash up. Luckily, because it would just be outright stupid to combine the two as a mashup. Seems like anything and everything is mashed together at some point. With this, 5 of the Dragon Ball Z characters are spoofing the Star Wars episode 4: A New Hope movie poster (shown below). Goku has power from his hands blasting up in the sky instead of Luke Skywalker holding up a lightsaber. Bulma, holding a Blue orb below him, instead of Princess Leia Organa standing while holding a blaster. Frieza is the shadowy face in space instead of Darth Vader's trademarked helmet. Instead of R2D2 and C3PO in the background there is Vegeta and Krillin. An series of a Dragon Balls replaces the tie fighters as in the sky. The location is pretty much the same in both scenes a desert landscape give or take a few details depending on the franchise.

Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope Poster

As for the artwork, it is pretty much flawless. The shading in this piece is outstanding. As are the colors. The fact that everything stays true to Dragon Ball Z is again, a smart move.

The Suicide Squad Girl hoodie design is for both fans of Harley Quinn and Suicide Squad (and some Suicide Girls fans).

The concept for the Suicide Squad Girl design is a clever mash up of Harley Quinn from her Suicide Squad adaptation and the adult lifestyle brand Suicide Girls. The two "Suicides" were made to be combined as if Destiny hereself willed it to be. Definitely one of the best Mash Ups ever.

As for the artwork, it says true to both styles thanks to the common elements such as pig tails, sultriness, and that bad girl demenor. It features contrasting White, Blue, and Pink as the color scheme as anything Harley Quinn via Suicide Squad should be. It's cute.

This is a badass design to be worn at any setting or event such as Comic-Con or going to the mall.

As for the print, It turned out PERFECT AS ALWAYS from Neatoshop. The colors especially the Pink pops which is where all other POD companies are lacking as it is a very difficult color to print.

This Suicide Squad Girl hoodie will make a great for any Suicide Squad or Harley Quinn fan.

How did Le Rage Shirts get started and what is your brand all about?

We started this company because as Geeks and Trend Lovers our favorite graphic Tees just weren't lasting as long as we wanted to love them for. We found a way to do something about it so that way our favorite shirts never have to go out of style. By staying in the trends and setting our own all whilst never compromising on quality; we knew there would be people out there just like us looking for the same things, and we were right.

What are the Le rage Shirts ideals?

That one is easy. Quality. Our products must meet each and every one of our standards or we simply won't sell them or send them out. That means nothing that chips, fades, stretches, rips, cracks, peels, or shrinks. We want your shirt to feel and look the same way a year from now as when you first received it. Lastly, we look for designs that will make you smile, nostalgic, laugh, show off your total geek obsession, or simply something that will be memorable years from now.

Who designs the tees?

We have a small, tight knit group of designers (all nerds I might add). A few of them are local, and the rests are artists from around the world we really admired and wanted to work with and support.

Our Artists source and feed their creativity from the world around them. Typically I'd say a lot of it stems from pop culture, whether that means its music, movies, books, TV shows or what have you; we just want our designs to be easily recognizable, understood, and enjoyed.
