The Ladies of DC Harley Quinn tee design is for the Batman and specifically Harley Quinn fans.

The concept is for Adults only. Meaning that Harley is a stripper at a Gentleman's club called The Iceberg Lounge and the Joker is the owner of the establishment. This artwork was taken from a larger Art Print design by the same artist which also available as a tee in a regular print tee that show the entire scene (Both are shown below). It is part of a series of artwork which features Gotham's baddest dames as strippers. This cropped view eliminates most of the bimbo aspect of her personality and focuses on the sexy cute aspects where as the other versions give her a little humor through dimwitted dialogue.

As for the artwork, it damn good. It is done in the same style as Batman the Animated series. The coloring is simple with the idea that red tint is reflecting on her hair and skin. The shading is even better with the background using halftones and the use of tonal shading on the subject. The contrast makes the tee easy to look at from any distance. There is action in this tee as Harley is actually doing something and not just standing there. Granted she is struggling with getting dressed but there is still struggle none-the-less.

Like most of the designs on this site, it would make a great Comic-Con shirt.

Bottom Line

The products and retailer Society6 are definitely high quality with a average price on par with most of the other Print On Demand services ($22.00 for DTG printed Tees and Women’s Tank Tops- $34 for Sublimated All Over Print Tees, $28.00 for Long Sleeves, $24 for Women’s V-Necks, $28 for Biker Tanks, $42 for Hoodies).

A lot of the designs can be found elsewhere and just as many or more are exclusive at the moment. The color and print quality for Direct to Garment printed items are above average and the Sublimated printed tees are Superb.

The brand of blanks that they use are American Apparel (100% Cotton/Tri-Blends 50% polyester / 25% cotton / 25% rayon) for the DTG T-shirts, Long Sleeve T-shirts, V-Necks, Tank Tops. American Apparel (100% Polyester) for the Sublimated All Over Print Tees. Their hoodies are also made by American Apparel (100% California Fleece cotton and the Heather Grey hoodies contain 90% cotton / 10% California Fleece Cotton). The Biker Tanks (100% Cotton) are exclusive.

It is nice to have fabric color options for the DTG prints as each design usually has a few choices to choose from, so that is a major plus. What You See Is What You Get for the All Over Print tees as the fabric is always White which is then dyed with the design itself.

Their size range is rather limited so the Big and Tall and Plus Sized people will miss out on some great designs.

As for the printing methods, they use the Digital Print or Direct To Garment (DTG) technique for the regular printed tees and the Sublimated technique for the All Over Print shirts. Their DTG prints are better than most (but not all) Print on Demand brands (4 out of 5 stars for print quality). Which places them in TeeFetch’s Top 5 for P.O.D. companies in regards to Print Quality. There ink is laid on with an industry average thickness and their ink colors are less muted than most of their Print On Demand competitors. Their Sublimated printed shirts are even better so much so that they are PERFECT for ink/dye coverage and color (5 out of 5 stars for print quality).

We feel that this Ladies of DC Harley Quinn Tee is a worthy purchase and therefore should not result in any buyer’s remorse.
