Metal Chick by HeavyMetalDesigns

This Metal Chick tee design features a blonde girl in a black leather jacket giving the hand horns gesture with the text "Metal Chick".
This Metal Chick tee was a product sample just to see how the print quality at Zazzle has changed over the years. It hasn't. This design was chosen because well, it was better than most of the stuff on Zazzle.
As for the design itself, it isn't professional by any means but it isn't the worse design of all time. Perhaps it's the worst one reviewed here. That is mainly a reflection of the lettering that spells out "Metal Chick". The designer places it on the girl's head. Why would anyone do that? Placing it all the way above or below the image would had been better. The lettering has highlights on the top and bottom, which kills any attempt at a 3D effect. The actual drawing of the 80's metal girl isn't too bad considering it is done by an amateur who is just dipping their toes into the POD industry to try to make a few buck. But it is the level of artwork to expect at Zazzle, Cafepress ( To Hell with Cafepress BTW), Comboutique etc.
Metal Chick By HeavyMetalDesigns. Is available on: Tees, Hoodies, Phone Cases and more. White and Grey were the only fabric colors that were decent for this design on the Women's Basic tee. The review breakdown is as follows:
Metal Chick Tee
The products and retailer Zazzle are of low – average quality for Print on Demand services and are a bit pricier than some of the other Print On Demand services ($21.95+). As for the tees you get a large choice of blanks and styles and from what has been sampled they are comfortable. They use Digital Printing or Direct To Garment (DTG) so there is usually a large selection of fabric colors to choose from. However, with their printers using their methods will cause the design to fade sooner than the superior old fashioned screen printing technique and compared to other brands who know how to do DTG right. The ink is laid on thin and the colors are muted and not very vibrant. We feel that this Metal Chick tee is a not worthy purchase and therefore would probably result in Buyer’s remorse as the print just does not hold up well.
