The Little Jokesters tee design is a great parody and mash up tee for people who love the The Joker and Harley Quinn from Batman: The Animated Series, (or anything Batman related) and the classic Americana paintings of Norman Rockwell.

Boy And Girl Gazing At The Moon Painting (aka Puppy Love) by Norman Rockwell

The concept is one of many Pop Culture renditions (by the same designer) of the nostalgic painting Boy and Girl Gazing At The Moon by Norman Rockwell (1926). It features The Joker and Harley Quinn as the young couple "in-love" with one of their pet hyenas (Bud or Lou) behind them at the corner of the wooden bench. It has a couple more references to their characters such as a Molotov Cocktail, a gag pistol, Harley's over sized wooden mallet and a Jack-In-The-Box. This, like all of the other versions in this "Little Spooners" series, the time and thought that went into this design cannot be appreciated enough. This mash up brings together different eras seamlessly and in my opinion does it better than the "Steampunk" style or movement which is the most well known style of this sort (Steampunk blends different eras with the steam powered 19th century). Very few pieces tend to blend eras this well (and have the subject still make sense).

As for the artwork, it looks like the Rockwell Style but with bolder cartoon like colors. The colors, shading and layout are all spectacular. The colors match the couple's regular outfits and "toys". Flawless execution.

This Little Jokesters tee will make a nice gift for the fans of Batman:The Animated Series. It is different than other Joker and Harley inspired tees out there. There is enough references to make every fan of the crime duo happy and pleased with both the art and concept.

This is a great Joker and Harley T-shirt that is perfect for comic-cons and even wearing to museums.

The Super Starry Night tee design is for the Super Mario Bros. fans that enjoy the art of Vincent van Gogh.

The concept is to combine Invincible Stars with the Starry Night sky which is a neat backdrop for the Mushroom Kingdom. This is one of the better Starry Night parodies and mash ups and if you've been paying attention to this blog you may have seen some reviewed already. This one in particular just fits, like it was meant to be. The redoing of classic paintings by adding modern pop culture twists is a trend that is on the rise in the T-shirt community.

As for the artwork, the style is emulating a odd blend of Nintendo with Vincent van Gogh's obviously with the broad stroke swirls. The colors are vibrant and the shading is flawless. Black fabric is the better choice in this case as it helps all the colors to pop with much greater contrast. Mario seems like he found peace while staring at the night sky. Although he is probably just trying to figure out how to get the stars and gain their power. Most of his body utilizes the negative space which is a sign of strong artistic skills. That and this mashup like the Starry Wars one may be based off of Starry Night but it isn't an exact copy like many of the other variants out there.

This Super Starry Night tee will make a nice gift for the Mario and Nintendo fans.

The Little Future Spooners tee design is a great parody and mash up tee for people who love the awesome television show Futurama and the classic Americana paintings of Norman Rockwell.

The concept is one of many Pop Culture renditions (by the same designer) of the nostalgic painting Boy and Girl Gazing At The Moon by Norman Rockwell (1926). It features Fry and Leela as the young couple in-love with their pets Nibbler and Seymour behind them at the corner of the bench. A bent bench which is appropriately remade to look like Bender's body parts. It has a couple more references to Futurama such as Seven Leaf Clover and the Holophonor. The time and thought that went into this design cannot be appreciated enough. Again, anything Futurama is good.

As for the artwork, it looks like the Rockwell Style but with bolder cartoon like colors. The colors, shading and layout are all spectacular. Flawless execution. If you are wondering about their outfits, they are taken from the Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles episode.

This Little Future Spooners tee will make a nice gift for the fans of Futurama. It is different than other Futurama inspired tees out there. It captures the tone of Fry and Leela's relationship perfectly. There is enough references to make every Futurama fan happy and pleased with both the art and concept.

This is a fantastic Futurama T-shirt that is perfect for comic-cons and wearing to museums.

The Throne Wars tee design is for the Game of Thrones and Star Wars fans.

The concept is like half parody and half mashup. In this, the Game of Thrones characters are spoofing the Star Wars episode 4: A New Hope movie poster (shown below). Ravens fly above instead of tie fighters. Jon Snow is holding up a Longclaw with a burst or glow coming from it while Daenerys Targaryen has the red dragon perched on her finger. Bronn and Tyrion Lannister are replacing the Droids in the background. The Night's King is the shadowy face in space instead of Darth Vader's trademarked helmet. The location is the Wall but the foreground has a desert like rock which seems a little out of place considering the Wall.

Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope Poster

As for the artwork, it is superb. The colors are vivid and the shading is better than most of the New Hope parodies and mash ups.

This Throne Wars tee will make a nice gift for the Game of Thrones fans. Even some Star Wars fans would appreciate it.

Like most of the designs on this site, it would make a great Comic-Con shirt.

The Pleased To Meet You tee design is for the Game of Thrones and Star Wars fans that geek out over both of the franchises equally.

The Pleased To Meet You tee design concept is simply drawing on the many parallels between Luck Skywalker and Jaime Lannister. In this design the two meet rather awkwardly. So WARNING SPOILER ALERT! First off, both strapping young lads have a thing for their own sisters. Second, both men have major daddy issues. Those may not be evident in this design but it part of the pairing. Third, they are both of noble blood. Fourth, both are trained swordsmen. Fifth, they both lose a hand. Finally(?), they both go through trials that shape their character for the better.

As for the artwork, it is sketchy but solid. The characters look kind of like statues minus some stone textures as the coloring is flat with the skin and clothing being the same color for each character. There is some minor shading and the likeness of each would definitely give away who is who even without the exchanged names (dialogue).

While this tee is awesome, I hope to see a more detailed version of this design in the future by RicoMambo. The concept is a very layered mash up and is respectful to both franchises.

This is a must have tee for fans of both franchises.

The Go Home Hat You're Drunk tee design is for Harry Potter Fans fans and to a lesser extent fans of Game of Thrones.

The Go Home Hat You're Drunk tee design concept is that Harry Potter belongs in House Stark of Game of Thrones. It is rather amusing. I actually laughed out loud for a good seven seconds or so when I first seen it. The idea itself is brilliant.

As for the artwork, The illustration and coloring is nice. However there are two things that might bother some people. First, there is one tiny dot out form Harry's elbow that is just there, so CREAM is the best color for this design. No one else would notice it. Second, the spotlight is weird looking with the edges on both sides being asymmetrical and well... lazy. The shading isn't consistent either. Again, probably no one but me pays this much attention to the details in t-shirt designs. It is a bit weird to see a House Sigil inside a dialogue balloon instead of words.

Game of Thrones fans and some Harry Potter fans would want this tee in their collection, especially if they like of both franchises.

However this is one of the rare occasions when the choices should be limited. It actually looks better on the lighter colors such as CREAM for reasons mentioned in the art critique above. The Deaths Be Solved tee design is for the iZOMBIE fans.
The concept is taken from the comic book of the same name and the art style is seen in the opening credits of the loosely adapted show iZOMBIE. It sums up what the show is about nicely. As she (a zombie) solves crimes (deaths) after having visions of the people (victims) whose brains that she eats from the Medical Examiner's Office (where she works).
As for the artwork, it looks just like the art used in the TV Series that ties in the show to the aforementioned comic book. It is colored and shaded well.
This is a great pop culture shirt that fits in anywhere such as Comic-Con or coffee shops.

The The Death Lord tee design is for the Star Wars that aim for the ultimate Dark Side.

The concept is self explanatory it is a mash up of the Grim Reaper and Darth Maul. Perhaps a better name for this design would be Death Maul but eh whatever. If Death was a Sith then this is probably how he'd look. It is a simple idea executed brilliantly.

As for the artwork, it is badass. Excellent coloring, shading and details. The glow effect is awesome as it reflects off of the character's shroud. The skull is Grey and detailed with Darth Maul's markings. Rather than just Darth Maul's face. The Neatoshop version you can actually make out the skull that is supposed to be part of the design, comparison here. I can go on how cool this tee looks but the link and art speak for itself.

This Death Lord Tee will make a nice gift for the morbid Star Wars fans.

Why Not Zoidberg Tee Design Review.

The Why Not Zoidberg tee design is for the people that decide which they like more, Game of Thrones or Futurama.

The concept is playing on a popular Futurama meme "Why Not Zoidberg", which is something that Zoidberg never actually said and the Game of Thrones poster from season 1 (shown below). The idea is that Zoidberg could rule Westeros as King just as well as anyone else.

As for the artwork, it is clean, well colored and well shaded. The style of the Iron Throne is like the perfect blend of both franchises. The only fail is a lack of a question mark. I will not deduct stars for that, in hopes that the artist updates the design.

Game of Thrones and Futurama fans would want this tee in their collection, especially if they like of both franchises.

The A Star Odyssey tee design is for the Star Wars fans that enjoy other science fiction movies such as 2001: a Space Odyssey.

The concept replaces the man apes and monolith of 2001: A Space Odyssey with Chewbacca and Han Solo frozen in carbonite. Which is a cool idea but it is not original. There is another design called Hanolith which is much older and done by the artist known as Bleee. Naolito's take on the concept is a bit more realistic as far as the art style.

As for the artwork, it is worthy of praise. Good coloring as to be expected from Naolito. The shading is a bit reversed for Chewbacca when in relation to Han but that is probably done on purpose to keep Han looking true to the movie. The background as awesome as it is with the wookies and Deathstar are darkened for some atmospheric perspective. Thus keeping Chewbacca and Han as the focal point.

This A Star Odyssey will make a nice gift for the Star Wars geeks as well as the Stanley Kubrick and Arthur C. Clarke fans.
