As for the artwork, unlike the Appetite For Destruction album cover which features a cross as the background shape, this has the outline of Serenity. (okay so Serenity is sort of a cross shape). The skulls look like their counterparts and character likenesses. In the Guns N' Roses album each skull represents one member of the band: Izzy Stradlin, top skull; Steven Adler, left skull; Axl Rose, center skull; Duff McKagan, right skull; and Slash, bottom skull. In the Appetite For Misbehaving tee, each skull represents one member of the Serenity crew: Kaylee Frye, top skull; Hoban Washburne, left skull; Captain Malcolm Reynolds, center skull; Jayne Cobb, right skull; and Zoe Washburn, bottom skull. As for the Misbehavin version, the colors and shading are better than the original album art on Destruction.

The Date Night tee design is for the romantic Browncoats and perhaps the desperately lonely.

The concept for the Date Night tee is that Jayne Cobb is out on a date with his prized gun a Callahan Full-bore Auto-lock with armor piercing capabilities which he affectionately calls Vera. They are shown sharing a milkshake at the "Shiny Cafe". Vera must be very forgiving and not of the jealous type considering how Jayne offered her up in trade.

"Six men came to kill me one time. And the best of 'em carried this. It's a Callahan full-bore auto-lock. Customized trigger, double cartridge thorough gauge. It is my very favorite gun … This is the best gun made by man. It has extreme sentimental value … I call her Vera."

As for the artwork, it is done in a cute cartoon style. The colors are bold and smooth and the shading is consistent. The simple layout of a table in front of a window shows careful planning adding a bit of depth while keeping the focal point on the milkshake in the center. Small almost subtle details like the heart shape cutout in the back of the Jayne's chair keep with the theme. It is executed quite well.

This Date Night tee will make a nice Valentine's Day gift for the Firefly fans and perhaps NRA members.

The Shiny Spacecraft Repair tee design is for Firefly and Serenity fans especially if they favor Kaylee. It is also for the mechanics and pin-up lovers. This design was reviewed before but this is the NeatoShop version. The write up for the design is the exact same. The review details however are different.

The concept is solid and makes perfect sense. Assuming that Kaylee would ever part from the Serenity crew, she would indeed open up her own spaceship repair service to make a humble living.

As for the artwork, the colors are appropriate for a cartoon of Kaylee and Serenity as well as her swirling parasol. It has decent shading that's a little inconsistent. There are lots of details that bring the tee to life. There is this sort of Warner Bros. meets Disney illustration style which isn't something we see everyday, which works well with this concept.

As you can see from the photos, the print turned out great.

Is available on T-shirts. Black, Charcoal and White are the only fabric color options and they are good choices. Although more colors would had be nice. Some Sky Colors would be fantastic. Black is a great choice but it isn't for everybody. I am sure sooner or later other colors will be offered by the designer and in that case dismiss the 1.5 star rating for the Fabric color choices. The I Want To Be A Leaf tee design is for Sci-Fi fans that enjoy Firefly and the X-Files.

The concept of this design is based on the beloved spaceship Serenity from Firefly as well as Wash's "I am a leaf in the wind watch how I soar" quote and the iconic poster "I Want To Believe" that could be seen in "Spooky" Fox Mulder's F.B.I. office. It is also the title of the second feature film installment of the X-Files franchise. It is clever and a must have for devout Firefly fans.

As for the artwork, it stays true to the I Want To Believe poster style. Decent coloring for a cartoon atmospheric effect. There is also a slight distressed effect.

The people that enjoy Firefly, the Browncoats, will relate to this tee on at least two different levels. First, they want to soar like a leaf and second they want to believe that there will be more Firefly episodes.

This is a good Firefly tribute tee with the layered meanings as well as a worthy nod to the X-Files franchise. It is one of the best mash ups and it actually makes sense.

The Tri-Black tee itself is rather comfortable. But the printed colors are muted and do not quite match the website's thumbnails.

The Starry Flight of Serenity tee design is for the Browncoats that enjoy the art of Vincent van Gogh.

The concept is a fitting mash up as Serenity belongs in the sky and the Starry Night sky is the perfect backdrop for the metal leaf in the wind. This is one of the best Starry Night parodies and mashups out there flooding the interwebs. And that is saying quite a bit beings of how there are too numerous to count and the number is growing exponentially everyday. The original painting (shown below) is almost as recognizable as the Mona Lisa.

As for the artwork, the style is emulating Vincent van Gogh's obviously with the broad stroke swirls and colors from the moon and stars, but the reimagined Firefly is all girardin27. The what I would call "afterburners" are the artistic pièce de ré·sis·tance of the shirt as it blends in nicely to the motif. Seamlessly in fact.

This Starry Flight of Serenity tee will make a nice gift for the Firefly fans that long to the soar the skies. Unfortunately, at the moment of writing this there are no kid sizes available.

The colors don't actually match the thumbnail on the retailer's website which is a downer but gray looks good for her clothing too but a point is taken away for that even though it still works. Green would had been better though since Kaylee really does wear green and since it is complimentary to the reds.

The Serenity Service Repair Manual tee design is a great tee for mechanics who love the cult classic television show Firefly and Firefly vessel (Serenity).

This concept is good. It would make a better book cover or movie poster as how many people wear vehicle repair manual covers on their tees otherwise? Yes, it helps that this one is a pop culture based design and makes the idea more bearable. Anything Firefly is good even if it is a bit of a stretch for a tee idea. Not that the design isn't good, it is actually excellent for what it is. Plenty of Firefly lines in one tee. Such as these lines from the episode entitled Train Job.

As for the artwork, it really does look like the HAYNES and CHILTON vehicle or auto repair manuals. If there really was such a book I'd buy it.

This is a great geek shirt that is perfect for comic-cons and whatever. I'd wear it to bar.

The Shiny Repair Service tee design. "K & C Shiny Repair Service Across the Galaxy" is about as good as a Sc-fi mash up can get as it has both Star Wars and Firefly.

This concept is cute, especially since Chewbacca is holding Kaylee and her trademark umbrella up in the air with one arm. She rest her free hand on his head which adds to the cute friendliness of the theme. Focusing on strength and kindness. If it wasn't for the fact that their timelines are completely different this would even be believable for the fanboys, because it just works out so well with both of the characters' personalities and trades. Saqman nailed it.

As for the artwork, it is illustrated by one of the best artists in the pop culture tee design circuit. He has many styles but you can always tell somehow when a piece is his. This design in particular follows the rules of design basics taught in art classes for signage. The balance with the design elements of the diamond shape in the background with Star Wars Millennium Falcon on one side and Firefly's Serenity on the other is pleasing to the eye. He tends to add details that others would miss. There is even a little foreshortening in Chewie's wrench arm.

This Shiny Repair Service tee would make a great gift for the fans of both franchises but they would really need to love both and not one or the other for it to be appreciated.
