TheĀ Beyond The Wall tee design is for Game of Thrones fans and Incredible Hulk fans.

The concept is for the fictional "Night's watch comics" (with an image of Mag Mar Tun Doh Weg the Giant as the Publisher Logo) title Beyond The Wall Approved by Castle Black under oath. Featuring Jon Snow, his sword Longclaw and in it a reflection of a White Walker (instead of Wolverine, his claws and the Hulk). This is a parody of the iconic The Incredible Hulk cover issue #340 (shown below). The Night's King is shown in the lower left hand corner in place of a barcode.

Incredible Hulk #340

As far as the artwork, it is fantastic. Yes, the jaws look a bit weird as they are yelling. But once you get used to the expression you will notice that the coloring and shading is among the best there is. The details from the skin tones, hair, reflection and blade, snow, to the Ice brick "The Wall" lettering take this from a mere "T-shirt design" to an actual work of art. The details are insanely obsessive compulsive. Like a person running around in their underwear during a winter storm with a foil hat on their head and maple syrup smeared on their bare chest while singing Yankee Doodle Dandy level of insanity. There is definitely more work put into this than there was in The Incredible Hulk cover. It is not often that a rectangle design on a tee looks good. So that is an accomplishment in itself.

The Beyond The Wall tee is perfect for team Jon Snow and any Game of Thrones fan would like the tee. But only the most devout comic book nerd will get The Incredible Hulk issue references.

Tales From Beyond The Wall Tee Review.

THIS DESIGN IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE FROM THIS RETAILER.

TheĀ Tales From Beyond The Wall tee design is for Game of Thrones fans and those that grew up with comic books especially ones like Tales From The Crypt and other pulp classics.

The concept for the Tales From Beyond The Wall tee design centers around everyone's favorite bastard Jon Snow, his direwolf Ghost and the White Walkers. But like any great comic book be it from Marvel, DC, Darkhorse, Vertigo, or whatever the mock cover is full of suspense and branding. "Stark Publishing House" is a good way to include the Stark name into the design as a show reference. The "December 1st") date is a "Winter Is Coming" nod. The fake barcode is a nice realistic touch. And the True to life "1st Epic Issue!!!" cover eye sore helps make it believable as a real comic entitled "Tales From Beyond The Wall!!!".

As far as the artwork, it has a strange style like DC meets Archie. Nothing drawn dynamically but enough color and shading (though inconsistent) to get the job done. Atomic Rocket did a good job making it look like winter you can see Jon's breath. It is a bit too cartoonish for my blood but some people do not like more realistic looking art in their comic books.

Team Jon Snow would dig this tee. With that stated, this is a fun Game of Thrones inspired tee that those rooting for the Starks or that are mostly only interested in the bigger picture issue would enjoy.

The Wolf Tee Design

The Wolf Tee Design Review.

The Wolf tee design is a Game of Thrones tee that is all about Jon Snow. The bastard stands tall and well, unknowingly. Just standing there, not in a battle stance or anything. Just holding his sword blade down.

The art is simple, bold and mono chromatic white, which makes up the snowy winter landscape. There are no fine details which make this easy to make out from a good distance. The shape of the Direwolf's head which frames Jon Snow is rather majestic. The fact that the artist bothered to depict Jon's coat as blowing in the wind makes the design more lively. Although, his hair should be blowing a little as well. There is a raven flying around where the wolf's eye would be placed in the wolf shaped frame. A good tee representing the Lord Commander or fans of the House of Stark, even if he is not an official Stark.

The Wolf design is also on children's apparel but with the subject matter being the very adult themed television series Game of Thrones, parents should use caution if buying this as school clothes.

This tee is great for wearing to Game of Thrones watching parties, Comic-Cons, or while fantasy gaming or attending LAN-parties.
