Ript Apparel established in 2009, is one of the first Limited Edition Tshirt sites and one of the most popular. The tees that I have ordered and worn regularly over the past 3 years have normal fading and cracking, having been machine washed and dried inside out. Currently, they sell 3 pop-culture-themed designs at a time starting at $14 apiece for 36 (used to be 24) hours only. Price has gone up since their early days. They are now my favorite Limited Edition Shirt company simply for all of the exclusives that they offer (updated 5/31/17).

This is a pre-order type of business so the wait time for an order to ship is within 2 business days after the sale. Perhaps up to a week if higher than expected sales or holidays cause delays. They use UPS Mail for domestic orders. International orders may take 1 to 2 months to arrive after leaving their warehouse.

The Rick and Porty shirt design is for the Rick and Morty and Portal fans. They done gone crossover in this one broh.

Let's consider the concept, it is obvious but funny. At first, nothing seems unusual for the pair as they run to other dimensions via portals. But upon closer inspection, the rifts are not the usual Green ones that they are known for producing. Instead, these are the ones from the hit video game Portal, a completely different franchise all together. Thus making this a necessary mash up. Personally, I feel that it should had used the Portal gun from the game rather than Rick's usual portal gun but that is just my humble opinion. However, there is enough here for anyone familiar and observant enough to get the references.

As for the artwork, it is not original by any means nor is it that difficult to illustrate. But the scene does come together well for the concept. For instance, the colors are true to the Rick and Morty series, just as they work well for the Blue and Yellow port holes from Portal. Also, there is a good gradient for fade off for the background, preventing this from being a boring "square" design". So it is aesthetically pleasing. What isn't shown are lasers or whatever is chasing them, which is a disappointment as it could add much to the action of the scene. Or at least provide and explanation. Regardless to the fact that nothing out of the ordinary is really happening I have to go ahead and give the artwork 5 stars just for being awesome. Wubba Lubba dub dub!

As for the print, it is good but the company usually prints better and bolder for the Blue end of the spectrum. There is not enough of an issue to take away any stars though. If you happen to have an issue with your print you could always return it if it is truly defective. This one was printed up in the middle of the 2016 Christmas rush and features a tag rather than being their normal tagless offering.

This Rick and Porty Shirt will make a nice gift for inter-dimensional travel buffs and fans of these franchises. Especially the Rick and Morty fans.

As for the Screen Printing, it is high quality. But sometimes a tee might not get 100% of the ink and if a customer receives one they can exchange (as long as it is not worn) it for a store credit for a different tee design as that tee design would no longer be available to replace it. The same could be said about all of the Limited Edition tee brands really. The Close Up of the Super BFF's tee design demonstrates this rare occurrence.

Shipping

Products ship out within 48 hours and tracking numbers are sent to you when we ship. Single shirt orders are shipped without tracking to the USA to keep costs reasonable (bundled orders have tracking!). All orders containing apparel ship out 7-9 business days after purchase (not including weekends or holidays). Our screen printers receive the orders within 24 hours of the sale, and print the order immediately. Once an order is printed, we package and ship your order as fast as possible. Depending on your location on this awesome planet, this can take a few days or a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, the one thing we cannot control is shipping wait times. All above times are approximations and can alter due to weather, time of year, and location of destination.

The A Link To The Future tee design is for the Back to The Future and the Legend of Zelda fans.

The concept for the A Link To The Future tee design is that it focuses on the time traveling element of both of the popular franchises. It features an Orange vest and power laced sneaker wearing Link instead of Marty McFly on a Hoverboard decorated with the Triforce instead of Mattel crap. And the Doctor Emmett Brown's personality is and attributes are given to Navi instead such as the Sunglasses hair and catchphrase "Great Scott!". Other references to the Legend of Zelda include Link's Green hat, his Master Sword, and the Ocarina of Time.

As for the artwork, The coloring and shading fit a cartoon style. More shading would had been good considering the shading on Link's pants, you know just to keep things consistent. There is some foreshortening as Link reaches for the Ocarina that is falling. The glow effects of Navi, the Hoverboard, and the lightning means that this design will look better on the darker fabric colors.

The A Link To The Future tee is perfect for the Legend of Zelda fans that are equally passionate about 80's movies.

The Kenny Bros tee design is for South Park and Super Mario Bros. fans.

The concept for the Kenny Bros tee is that Kenny dies an infinite amount of times and he could use (or does use hmmm?) 1-Up mushrooms for extra lives. Having him drawn in the Mario style in a video game Super Mario Bros. 2 (Shown below) cover art parody is the best way to illustrate this idea. The best part by far is that the mushroom is bigger than his head.

As for the artwork, it is a nice mix of South Park and Super Mario Bros. drawing styles. The coloring is good. The mild shading is a bit inconsistent as it isn't over all of the elements. But that is okay because no one will notice.

This is a welcomed mashup with lots of humor. Of all the Super Mario Bros. parodies out there this one is deserving. Perhaps some version with text would be even better.

This funny shirt is good for any lighthearted occasion and place. Especially where video games are involved.

Kenny Bros Tee Design by Melonesta.

Is available on T-shirts. Charcoal, Dark Chocolate, and Navy are the only fabric color choices. They work well for this design they offer the most contrast.

Extra Terrestrials Tee Design by glenbrogan.

The Extra Terrestrials tee design is for fans of all the important pop culture aliens.

The concept for the Extra Terrestrials tee is a parody of the famous E.T. bike and moon scene. It not only includes E.T. but it features; Kang or Kodos from The Simpsons, an infant Metroid, Marvin the Martian, ALF, Spock from Star Trek, Yoda from Star Wars, Nibbler from Futurama, an Invader from Space Invaders, the Xenomorphs Grid from Alien, and The Great Gazoo from The Flintstones. And Let's not forget the panicked Elliot.

As for the artwork, it is all silhouettes with white eyes and minor forced Pink highlights for definition. The illustration is simple and it is easy to make out the details.

The Extra Terrestrials tee with many great franchises from various decades together in one design is a must have shirt for any Sci-Fi fan.

This is a great pop culture shirt that fits in anywhere.

The Super Playbros tee design is for all the nerds out there that want to see Princess Peach on a Playboy Magazine cover. Nintendo Power ain't got jack on this.

The concept for the Super Playbros tee design is to put a realistic Princess Toadstool (Peach) in a retro style Playboy cover Pin Up Girl pose in a mock cover for a parody of Playboy Magazine. She sits legs crossed on a giant Red troopa shell and has a Invincible star floating above the palm of her hand. The date of the issue is September 1985, an important date for NES as that is the year that Super Mario Bros. was released.

As for the artwork. There are no complaints... nope none. Awesome colors, blending, and shading throughout. The artwork displays an entire arsenal of skills that go well beyond most people's abilities. The layout is just like one or a few of the earlier issues of Playboy with far less cover lines. As a bonus this design gives viewers 1-Ups.

Wear this tee to Comic-Cons, E3, or almost anywhere. However, with the adult nature of this design I wouldn't recommend it as school clothes.

The Flying Solo tee design is for the Star Wars and The Legend Of Zelda fans.

The concept for the Flying Solo tee is actually very funny. It is a parody of The Legend of Zelda "It's dangerous to go alone take this." (shown below) where Han Solo holds up Chewbacca like Link holds up his sword. It is goofy as Hell but it is true to a point. Han needs the wookie. Chewbacca has always had Han's back and fans could argue that Han wouldn't last solo.

As for the artwork, it is very simple and pixelated in the same style as the original NES game. The colors are good for what it is. Although choosing a contrasting background that shows both the characters and the font well without losing body parts into obscurity is a bit daunting. Some scenery would had improved this some, to be more like the Legend of Zelda screen shot.

The Flying Solo is for all Link and Han fans regardless of age. It doesn't get any more old school than this.

The Museum of Geeks tee design is for the video game enthusiasts, especially the Super Mario Bros. fans.

The concept for the Museum of Geek History tee is that Yoshi's fossilized skeleton is on display at a history museum labeled as the "Yoshisorus". This is not the first tee to
play on the dinosaur aspects of the character. For example, there is one archaeological based tee where Yoshi's remains were unearthed. But this presentation conveys the idea in a
more detailed manner.

As for the artwork, The simple isolated layout works ideally for this piece. The coloring is great with bright hues (Green and Red) for the subject matter and muted tones for the background for some added depth. The textures such as on the bones, the wood grain on the floor panels and the frosted half-tones on the glass are superb. It looks like a lot of time was put into this design.

This is an awesome Super Mario Bros. reference tee that can be worn at any casual event. Comic-Con and E3 are to places where this tee would shine.

The Castle Lovers tee design is for the Super Mario Bros. fans that want more drama in the franchise.

The concept for the Castle Lovers tee design is that there is a love triangle involving Mario, Princess Peach and Luigi. That in itself is not original as it has been done numerous times before.At any rate, here Mario has no idea that Princess Peach is seeing his brother but he suspects that something is going on with someone. So Luigi is hiding to keep their secret by dangling outside the castle window. Princess Peach has a worried and guilty expression on her face. Overall, it is funny and a bit sad at the same time.

As for the artwork, the colors are Super Mario Bros. appropriate and are purposely muted to set a mood.
The splotches in random places and in the dark areas has little to be desired however but it still makes
a damn good shirt.

You can almost hear some cheesy soap opera theme music.

This Castle Lovers tee is for the adult gamers. Where it to Comic-Con, E3 etc.
