The Dragon Wars Z T-shirt design is for the Dragon Ball Z and Star Wars fans.

The concept is more of a parody than it is a mash up. Luckily, because it would just be outright stupid to combine the two as a mashup. Seems like anything and everything is mashed together at some point. With this, 5 of the Dragon Ball Z characters are spoofing the Star Wars episode 4: A New Hope movie poster (shown below). Goku has power from his hands blasting up in the sky instead of Luke Skywalker holding up a lightsaber. Bulma, holding a Blue orb below him, instead of Princess Leia Organa standing while holding a blaster. Frieza is the shadowy face in space instead of Darth Vader's trademarked helmet. Instead of R2D2 and C3PO in the background there is Vegeta and Krillin. An series of a Dragon Balls replaces the tie fighters as in the sky. The location is pretty much the same in both scenes a desert landscape give or take a few details depending on the franchise.

As for the artwork, it is pretty much flawless. The shading in this piece is outstanding. As are the colors. The fact that everything stays true to Dragon Ball Z is again, a smart move.

Lightsaber Glove Holster Tee Design Review.

The Lightsaber Glove Holster tee design is for any aspiring Jedi that lives, eats, and craps Star Wars.

The Lightsaber Glove Holster tee design concept is a fake ad based on the fact that the Jedi are always dropping their Lightsabers during epic battles. As mentioned with the text "Despite being a trained Jedi I was always dropping my Lightsaber, adding dramatic effect to my battles. Thanks, Lightsaber Glove Holster! ~ O.W. Kenobi". The glove is shown to be endorsed by both Yoda and Obi Wan Kenobi who each give it a thumbs up approval as seen in the circle insert.

As for the artwork, the design is a cartoon illustration with retro coloring and minor hatching for some minimal shading on select parts. The style looks like it belong on Cartoon Network. The font is done in the Star Wars logo styling.

This Lightsaber Glove Holster tee will make a nice gift for any fan of Star Wars and practicality.

This is a good casual shirt that fits in anywhere but it will a hit at Comic-Cons, Sci-Fi Conventions, and other similar events.

Extra Terrestrials Tee Design Review.

The Extra Terrestrials tee design is for fans of all the important pop culture aliens.

The concept for the Extra Terrestrials tee is a parody of the famous E.T. bike and moon scene. It not only includes E.T. but it features; Kang or Kodos from The Simpsons, an infant Metroid, Marvin the Martian, ALF, Spock from Star Trek, Yoda from Star Wars, Nibbler from Futurama, an Invader from Space Invaders, the Xenomorphs Grid from Alien, and The Great Gazoo from The Flintstones. And Let's not forget the panicked Elliot.

As for the artwork, it is all silhouettes with white eyes and minor forced Pink highlights for definition. The illustration is simple and it is easy to make out the details.

The Extra Terrestrials tee with many great franchises from various decades together in one design is a must have shirt for any Sci-Fi fan.

This is a great pop culture shirt that fits in anywhere.

Flying Solo Tee Design Review.

The Flying Solo tee design is for the Star Wars and The Legend Of Zelda fans.

The concept for the Flying Solo tee is actually very funny. It is a parody of The Legend of Zelda "It's dangerous to go alone take this." (shown below) where Han Solo holds up Chewbacca like Link holds up his sword. It is goofy as Hell but it is true to a point. Han needs the wookie. Chewbacca has always had Han's back and fans could argue that Han wouldn't last solo.

As for the artwork, it is very simple and pixelated in the same style as the original NES game. The colors are good for what it is. Although choosing a contrasting background that shows both the characters and the font well without losing body parts into obscurity is a bit daunting. Some scenery would had improved this some, to be more like the Legend of Zelda screen shot.

The Flying Solo is for all Link and Han fans regardless of age. It doesn't get any more old school than this.

Tis But A Scratch Tee Design Review.

The Tis But A Scratch tee design is for the Star Wars and Monty Python's The Search For The Holy Grail fans.

The concept for the Tis But A Scratch tee is that Luke Skywalker and the Black Knight are face to face bleeding out. Luke is all panicked as the Black Knight casually blows off Luke's injury as a mere scratch.

As for the artwork, the colors look great. The shading is a bit tricky and is forced rather than a natural angle. Experienced illustrators and cartoonists can get by with this in cartoons and still have it look right. It is very tricky to do. Naolito did it so well that most people will not notice.

This Tis But A Scratch tee is more for the geeks who can't get enough of the 70's movies. Wear this tee to any pop culture event.

Type Star Tee Design Review.

The Type Star tee design is for Star Wars fans.

For The concept, this takes the first 6 episode opening crawls and arranges them in the shape of the Death Star. This design took a lot of patience to make even if it was done as an overlay layer on top of a Death Star base image (which gets removed) and the shading is done by changing the color of the font thus creating some depth.

Here are parts of the crawls to give you an idea of what is typed.

Episode I: The Phantom Menace: "Turmoil has engulfed the Galactic Republic. The taxation of trade routes to outlying star systems is in dispute. Hoping to resolve the matter with a blockade of deadly battleships, the greedy Trade Federation has stopped all shipping to the small planet of Naboo. While the Congress of the Republic endlessly debates this alarming chain of events, the Supreme Chancellor has secretly dispatched two Jedi Knights, the guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy, to settle the conflict...."

Episode II: Attack of the Clones: "There is unrest in the Galactic Senate. Several thousand solar systems have declared their intentions to leave the Republic. This separatist movement, under the leadership of the mysterious Count Dooku, has made it difficult for the limited number of Jedi Knights to maintain peace and order in the galaxy. Senator Amidala, the former Queen of Naboo, is returning to the Galactic Senate to vote on the critical issue of creating an ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC to assist the overwhelmed Jedi...."

Episode III: Revenge of the Sith: "War! The Republic is crumbling under attacks by the ruthless Sith Lord, Count Dooku. There are heroes on both sides. Evil is everywhere. In a stunning move, the fiendish droid leader, General Grievous, has swept into the Republic capital and kidnapped Chancellor Palpatine, leader of the Galactic Senate. As the Separatist Droid Army attempts to flee the besieged capital with their valuable hostage, two Jedi Knights lead a desperate mission to rescue the captive Chancellor...."

Episode IV: A New Hope: "It is a period of civil war. Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet. Pursued by the Empire's sinister agents, Princess Leia races home aboard her starship, custodian of the stolen plans that can save her people and restore freedom to the galaxy...."

Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back: "It is a dark time for the Rebellion. Although the Death Star has been destroyed, Imperial troops have driven the Rebel forces from their hidden base and pursued them across the galaxy. Evading the dreaded Imperial Starfleet, a group of freedom fighters led by Luke Skywalker has established a new secret base on the remote ice world of Hoth. The evil lord Darth Vader, obsessed with finding young Skywalker, has dispatched thousands of remote probes into the far reaches of space...."

Episode VI: Return of the Jedi: "Luke Skywalker has returned to his home planet of Tatooine in an attempt to rescue his friend Han Solo from the clutches of the vile gangster Jabba the Hutt. Little does Luke know that the GALACTIC EMPIRE has secretly begun construction on a new armored space station even more powerful than the first dreaded Death Star. When completed, this ultimate weapon will spell certain doom for the small band of rebels struggling to restore freedom to the galaxy..."

As for the Type Star Tee artwork, the font colors are appropriately Death Star tones.

The Type Star tee design is perfect for wearing to screenings of Star Wars, or while attending Comic-Cons and so on and so forth.

Star Wars The Force Awakens Tees.

Well, Dec. 18th is almost here and the world is anticipating Star Wars The Force Awakens. To celebrate here are some links to some awesome Force Awakens and Star Wars designs in general that are worth the coin. We are focusing on two brands for two reasons. The first being Officially Licensed designs and the second being Indie designs.

Throne Wars Tee Design Review.

The Throne Wars tee design is for the Game of Thrones and Star Wars fans.

The concept is like half parody and half mashup. In this, the Game of Thrones characters are spoofing the Star Wars episode 4: A New Hope movie poster (shown below). Ravens fly above instead of tie fighters. Jon Snow is holding up a Longclaw with a burst or glow coming from it while Daenerys Targaryen has the red dragon perched on her finger. Bronn and Tyrion Lannister are replacing the Droids in the background. The Night's King is the shadowy face in space instead of Darth Vader's trademarked helmet. The location is the Wall but the foreground has a desert like rock which seems a little out of place considering the Wall.

As for the artwork, it is superb. The colors are vivid and the shading is better than most of the New Hope parodies and mash ups.

This Throne Wars tee will make a nice gift for the Game of Thrones fans. Even some Star Wars fans would appreciate it.

Like most of the designs on this site, it would make a great Comic-Con shirt.

Pleased To Meet You Tee Design Review.

The Pleased To Meet You tee design is for the Game of Thrones and Star Wars fans that geek out over both of the franchises equally.

The Pleased To Meet You tee design concept is simply drawing on the many parallels between Luck Skywalker and Jaime Lannister. In this design the two meet rather awkwardly. So WARNING SPOILER ALERT! First off, both strapping young lads have a thing for their own sisters. Second, both men have major daddy issues. Those may not be evident in this design but it part of the pairing. Third, they are both of noble blood. Fourth, both are trained swordsmen. Fifth, they both lose a hand. Finally(?), they both go through trials that shape their character for the better.

As for the artwork, it is sketchy but solid. The characters look kind of like statues minus some stone textures as the coloring is flat with the skin and clothing being the same color for each character. There is some minor shading and the likeness of each would definitely give away who is who even without the exchanged names (dialogue).

While this tee is awesome, I hope to see a more detailed version of this design in the future by RicoMambo. The concept is a very layered mash up and is respectful to both franchises.

This is a must have tee for fans of both franchises.

The The Death Lord tee design is for the Star Wars that aim for the ultimate Dark Side.

The concept is self explanatory it is a mash up of the Grim Reaper and Darth Maul. Perhaps a better name for this design would be Death Maul but eh whatever. If Death was a Sith then this is probably how he'd look. It is a simple idea executed brilliantly.

As for the artwork, it is badass. Excellent coloring, shading and details. The glow effect is awesome as it reflects off of the character's shroud. The skull is Grey and detailed with Darth Maul's markings. Rather than just Darth Maul's face. The Neatoshop version you can actually make out the skull that is supposed to be part of the design, comparison here. I can go on how cool this tee looks but the link and art speak for itself.

This Death Lord Tee will make a nice gift for the morbid Star Wars fans.

This is a great Sci-Fi shirt that fits in anywhere such as Comic-Con or coffee shops.
