The Welcome to Amity tee design is for the fans of the Jaws franchise.
The concept is simple, based on Amity's dependence on the tourism industry (or at least the mayor's need to keep it open for his own debts and safety). It takes elements from the movie prior to say the boy with the raft and the dog (Pippet) being eaten by the infamous shark. It is a picturesque scene that anyone with the desire or need to get away from the hustle and bustle of life would want to travel to as a vacation destination. Except this one states "Don't Go In The Water" as a warning to tourists. Which would defeat the purpose of the ad.
The artwork is like that of a retro magazine or even billboard ad. The with the kind of artwork that Big Tobacco would use. It has appropriate beach themed colors and limited and selective shading.
The Welcome to Amity tee design is also on children's apparel so any kids that weren't scarred by the movies may appreciate this shirt too.
The Welcome to Amity as shown above is screen printed on an American Apparel blank. It is light and comfortable.

Bottom Line
The products and retailer Snorg Tees are high quality at fair prices such as $20 for a tee and $40 for a hoodie. As for the tees, the American Apparel blanks are above average for comfort and durability. The fabric material is whatever they have pre-printed on and there is no choice on the consumer’s part. As for the printing method, they use the superior old fashioned screen printing technique.
Since they are screen printed, this means that usually there is no choice of a fabric color, what you see is all that there is for this design.
On the downside, their size selection is rather limited thus the big and tall and plus sized people tend to miss out on some great shirts. Women might want to consider ordering men’s tees if they need larger sizes.
Overall, we feel that this Welcome to Amity tee is a worthy purchase and therefore should not result in any buyer’s remorse.
