The Minions in Black tee design features a mashup of the lovable henchmen from the Despicable Me series of movies and the main characters from the Men In Black (M.I.B.) movies. The Minions in Black tee design is for the people that have fallen head over heels for the small yellow minions in overalls from the Despicable Me movies and to lesser extent fans of the MIB or Men in Black Franchise.

The concept revolves around when agents J and K wipe the memories of the people who witness extra-terrestrial encounters in the movies. The shirt sports the minions standing in the classic J and K pose where one is holding the device and the other sporting the minion’s love of bananas as a replacement. They are also wearing the iconic MIB suits worn by every agent. One of the nicer touches is definitely the minion replacing the “I” in the MIB logo at the bottom of the tee. The design presents itself well on the black fabric allowing the minions to pop because of their yellow color and the white outline present around the minions allows their suits to really look crisp and sharp. The concept is great too where one of the minions is serious and looks like a true MIB agent but the other perfectly counters it with the more silly side of the minions and the clash just makes this design work. It’s everything you would expect from a minion inspired tee.

The Minions in Black tee would be the perfect gift for anyone who loves these adorable characters and as we can tell by their take over on the big screen and in merchandising is most kids and adults. It is a good casual shirt that fits snug and comfy and would be great for lying in bed and watching TV or Netflix.

The Tacos tee design (with hair version) is for the Deadpool fans and perhaps fans of Ancient Aliens or at least the associated meme (Shown below). A version without hair is also available.

Giorgio Tsoukalos

The concept for the hilarious Tacos tee design is that the hard to kill Wade Wilson aka Deadpool mimics Giorgio Tsoukalos (from Ancient Aliens) and his painful to look at hair. It is based off a scene from the Ancient Aliens television series that has became a dominating meme. It is a Deadpool taco meme with him mocking another meme. Layered concept. It is probably hinting that Wade is from another planet because he is so off the wall insane.

As for the artwork, it is clean and skillfully done. Great coloring and shading. The likenesses of Deadpool and Giorgio are captured brilliantly. The right mix of ...I dunno wtf the word that I am looking for is..."essences" maybe. The viewer knows the expression on the face even though it is behind a mask with or without the hair and could probably do so without ever seeing Girgio. That takes talent and skill.

This is an awesome design to be worn at any setting or event such as the almighty Comic-Con.

The Deadly Tacos tee design is for the Americana and Memorabilia collectors that are also fond of Deadpool and Tacos. It combines the two worlds and eras that do not belong together thus creating something that seems familiar but new at the same time. Somehow the design just looks and feels right.

The concept for this design is that Wade Wilson aka Deadpool stands in the famous Big Boy pose shown below holding up a Taco. To learn more about Deadpool and his love for Mexican food.

As for the artwork, it is clean and as one would imagine this concept would look. As a cartoon rendering there is no shading in this piece. If Deadpool were to open his own Taquería this is probably what the derivative trademarked signage and statues would look like. He, much like Mario would rip off Bob's Big Boy directly just like this. Seriously though this is a good mashup as Wade would make himself and the restaurant a parody. Especially since Bob's Big Boy isn't Mexican at all, the irony plays well with the character.

This Deadly Tacos tee will make a great for any Deadpool fan, especially if they happen to like Bob's Big Boy. Even if they do not they will probably like this design.

The North Park tee design is for the Game of Thrones and South Park fans. Even though South Park did a mean parody of Game of Thrones in the Black Friday episode making fun of it (like they do everything else). This mash up parody is just as funny and awesome.

The concept is simply re-imagining the four main South Park kids and their school bus stop with a Night's Watch theme. Of course fatass Cartman is Samwell Tarly, Kyle as a White Walker (the angry eyes is definitely Kyle), Kenny as a corpse and Stan as Jon Snow. The South Park sign has been replaced with a North Park sign for more of a Game of Thrones vibe.

As for the artwork, the style is emulating South Park's style flawlessly. The colors and lack of shading couldn't be a better a match. The layout is taken from any bus stop scene featuring the South Park boys. The way the Game of Thrones character likenesses were applied does both franchises justice. The true to shows' facial expressions make this design what it is, had any of that been changed the design would had sucked. The crappy looking South Park style raven even fits in nicely fora smooth transition.

This North Park tee will make a nice gift for the Game of Throne fans (especially of Jon Snow).

Wear this tee to Comic-Cons and fantasy conventions. This is a fifty fifty mash up so fans of both franchises will be happy to add this to their collections. This probably isn't appropriate as school clothes for children though since both South Park and Game of Thrones are meant for mature audiences.

The Bad Girls Go To Arkham tee design is for the Harley Quinn fans.

The concept is to show Harleen Quinzel's (Harley Quinn) mugshot acting as one would imagine that she would with her tongue sticking out. This idea has been done a few times and this is one of the better ones available. The text on the design reads "Good Girls go to Heaven Bad Girls go to Arkham." which is playful and a bit spunky. Which makes me think that it is more of a women's design. It has enough of Harley's personality to make it a good choice for any fan's wardrobe.

As for the artwork, the style is somewhere between the comic book and cartoon. Red, Black, White and Blonde (Yellow) are appropriate Harley Quinn Colors. The shading is minimum as there is some in the hair and some tone variation for her nose. The layout is also square/rectangle. It would look better if the fabric were the backdrop instead of the white square. As for the exact version of Harley that this is, that is a tough one. It looks like it is a combination of her many looks she is wearing an eye mask, but she is shown having blonde hair in pigtails without the jester's hat. Like part video game Harley and Part Suicide Squad perhaps.

The Lil Mac's Gym tee design is for the Punch Out fans that may or may not like Notre Dame's The Fighting Irish.

The concept is to combine the the fighting leprechaun logo of Notre Dame with the playable character Mac from (Mike Tyson's) Punch Out game for the original NES. The two combined for Lil Mac's Boxing Gym makes for a decent T-shirt.

As for the artwork, the style is derivative but that is to be expected with this type of mash up. The trademark green shorts and boxing gloves are a huge tip off on who the character is as anyone who played the video game will recognize them instantly.

This Lil Mac's Gym tee will make a nice retro gift. Wear this tee for an 80's vibe or give one to an old school Nintendo gamer.

The Starry DeLorean tee design is for the Back To The Future fans that enjoy the art of Vincent van Gogh.

The concept is to combine the coolest time machine which comes from the Back To The Future trilogy with the Starry Night sky which is the perfect backdrop for anything dealing with space and time (Space time). This is one of the better Starry Night parodies and mash ups and if you've been paying attention to this blog you may have seen some reviewed already.

Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh

As for the artwork, the style is emulating Vincent van Gogh's obviously with the broad stroke swirls. Not an exact copy but enough to know its basis (No moon for example). The subject of this tee the DeLorean, is ore subtle than inserted than say the parody featuring Serenity. Black fabric is the better choice in this case as it helps all the colors to pop with much greater contrast. I do think this tee would had been even better had Hill Valley and the Clock tower been the town and prominent building depicted.

This Starry DeLorean tee will make a nice gift for the Back To the Future fans.

The Super Starry Night tee design is for the Super Mario Bros. fans that enjoy the art of Vincent van Gogh.

The concept is to combine Invincible Stars with the Starry Night sky which is a neat backdrop for the Mushroom Kingdom. This is one of the better Starry Night parodies and mash ups and if you've been paying attention to this blog you may have seen some reviewed already. This one in particular just fits, like it was meant to be. The redoing of classic paintings by adding modern pop culture twists is a trend that is on the rise in the T-shirt community.

As for the artwork, the style is emulating a odd blend of Nintendo with Vincent van Gogh's obviously with the broad stroke swirls. The colors are vibrant and the shading is flawless. Black fabric is the better choice in this case as it helps all the colors to pop with much greater contrast. Mario seems like he found peace while staring at the night sky. Although he is probably just trying to figure out how to get the stars and gain their power. Most of his body utilizes the negative space which is a sign of strong artistic skills. That and this mashup like the Starry Wars one may be based off of Starry Night but it isn't an exact copy like many of the other variants out there.

The Fried Cuccos tee design is for the Americana and Memorabilia collectors that are also fond of The Legend of Zelda video games. It brings the two worlds and eras together creating something somewhat nostalgic. KFC would had made more sense but that parody or mashup has been done already numerous times. So a little overlooking is needed to appreciate this tee.

The concept is to have Link while holding up a fried chicken leg while standing in the famous Bob's Big Boy burger chain's Big Boy pose shown below. Of course we all know the cuccos are nothing to mess with and Link could never ever end up killing one. This is more of a wishful thinking type of design.

As for the artwork, it is clean and simple. The coloring is appropriate for being a Link themed tee. the character likeness is good. There is no shading and it really isn't needed. Link looks a little scuffed up with some facial blemishes and feathers in his hair. Probably from fighting the Cuccos.

This Fried Cuccos tee will make a great for any Zelda fan, especially if they happen to like Bob's Big Boy.

The Pleased To Meet You tee design is for the Game of Thrones and Star Wars fans that geek out over both of the franchises equally.

The Pleased To Meet You tee design concept is simply drawing on the many parallels between Luck Skywalker and Jaime Lannister. In this design the two meet rather awkwardly. So WARNING SPOILER ALERT! First off, both strapping young lads have a thing for their own sisters. Second, both men have major daddy issues. Those may not be evident in this design but it part of the pairing. Third, they are both of noble blood. Fourth, both are trained swordsmen. Fifth, they both lose a hand. Finally(?), they both go through trials that shape their character for the better.

As for the artwork, it is sketchy but solid. The characters look kind of like statues minus some stone textures as the coloring is flat with the skin and clothing being the same color for each character. There is some minor shading and the likeness of each would definitely give away who is who even without the exchanged names (dialogue).

While this tee is awesome, I hope to see a more detailed version of this design in the future by RicoMambo. The concept is a very layered mash up and is respectful to both franchises.

This is a must have tee for fans of both franchises.
