The Futurenuts tee design is for the Peanuts and Futurama fans. And yes, this is what Charlie brown would look like if he had hair. Now you know.

The concept for the Futurenuts tee is to mash up The Peanuts with Futurama. Legendary Phoenix drew Philip J. Fry, Bender and The Planet Express Ship "Bessie" in the Peanuts style which is smart. Because if he were to draw Bender as a beagle or some stupid Doctor Who K-9 rip that would had sucked. He brings only the best elements of both franchises together and does so beautifully. The laziness of Fry and Bender couldn't be represented any better. Well maybe if there were a TV in the design.

As for the artwork, the Peanuts style works oddly enough considering the futuristic aspect of Futurama. The colors are appropriate for both franchises and the classic Charlie Brown with Snoopy on top of his doghouse layout makes for a great shirt. The simplicity is what makes it great. The background seems a bit odd but it works in its irregular panel form. Green tees work best for this design due to the grass.

This Futurenuts tee is more for the laid back cartoon lover of all types. Bringing a little old to the fairly new.

Bottom Line

The products and retailer Neatoshop are definitely high quality with a better price than most of the other Print On Demand services ($15.95 – $19.95 range for Tees, $29.95 for Long Sleeves, $45-50 for Hoodies). Most of the designs can be found elsewhere but the color and print quality will be weak in comparison. The brand of blanks that they use are Hanes and Next Level from the samples that I’ve seen, they have others depending on the color and style. It is nice to have fabric color options as each design usually has a few choices to choose from, so that is a major plus. There are plenty of sizes and styles as well. As for the printing method, they use the Digital Print or Direct To Garment (DTG) technique. Their methods with their printer are as close as possible to the traditional Screen Printed results. This means that their ink is laid on thick and their ink colors are bold and not muted like it is at most of their Print On Demand competitors. That is a big deal so the print method gets a 5 star rating, especially when taking the price into consideration. We feel that this Futurenuts Tee is a worthy purchase and therefore should not result in any buyer’s remorse.
